BOOKALIFT Terms & Conditions
To provide you with the highest level of service, please review the following terms and conditions carefully:
Cancellations
- Cancellations are accepted by phone only. Please call 604-719-1947 to cancel or modify your booking.
- A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required for all cancellations. Failure to cancel within this window will result in full fare charges, including a 20% gratuity.
- If BOOKALIFT is unable to accommodate your cancellation request, full charges (including gratuity) will still apply.
Deposits & Refunds
- All deposits are non-refundable.
- BOOKALIFT assumes no liability for mechanical issues during service. In such rare instances, we will provide a credit note for future use at a mutually agreed-upon date and time.
Client Responsibility & Damage Policy
- Clients assume full financial responsibility for any damage caused to vehicles operated by Hylton Transportation Inc. or its subsidiaries.
- A $100 fee will be charged per damaged area.
- Minimum sanitation and detailing charges are $250.
Prohibited Conduct
- Alcohol and drug consumption is strictly prohibited in all vehicles and is illegal under current laws. Clients are responsible for any fines or penalties resulting from violations.
- Smoking is not permitted in any of our vehicles.
- Standing through the sunroof is illegal and strictly forbidden.
- The driver reserves the right to terminate service without refund in cases of blatant misconduct or disrespectful behavior from the client(s).
Waiting Time & Charges
- A 10-minute grace period is provided. After that, a waiting time fee will apply, billed in 15-minute increments at $1.00 per minute.
Weather & Road Conditions
- BOOKALIFT is not responsible for delays or cancellations caused by unsafe road conditions, including but not limited to road closures, accidents, or winter hazards.
Lost Items
- BOOKALIFT is not liable for any personal belongings left in the vehicle.
Billing & Account Policy
- All outstanding balances must be paid in full prior to your next booking, unless you hold a monthly account in good standing.
- Monthly account holders are expected to settle their invoices by the due date.
- For safety and compliance reasons, we do not exceed the seating capacity of our vehicles under any circumstances.
